In case you couldn't tell, I was feeling a little aggravated when I made my last post, but things have cheered me up. I found out that creator of Girls Gone Wild was thrown in jail, then yesterday I saw a really sweet concert. It was almost rained out, but it wasn't. That was exciting.
This is rather odd, but is Paypal allowing the sale of adult items now? A post by
arshes clued me into this, but I've since looked around and can't find any news items on this at all. Paypal's Policy Updates page doesn't mention this either, yet the Mature Audiences Policy has definitely been updated since they put their dogmatic anti-porn policy in effect back in 2003.
The rules no longer state flat-out that you can't sell adult material at all. But they are a bit vague, and it almost seems like they're saying "You can use Paypal to sell porn, except you can't." I'm thinking that they've made it okay to sell anything with sexual content that isn't porn. That is to say, you could use Paypal to sell a movie like "9 1/2 Weeks" or "The Bikini Carwash Company", but not a movie like "Titfuck Island V".
On the other hand, eBay's Mature category is back (when did this happen?), and it includes items that are definitely porn. So... I don't know?
Whatever the case, they DO state flat-out that digital porn can't be sold, so it's not much help for me, until I decide to sell print collections for Slipshine, which probably won't happen anytime soon.
Speakin' of Slipshine, I finally started workin' on my animated series. So far I just have this character design sketch. This cartoon will be about a pop music star who's trying to become an actress, and like actual pop music stars who try this, she sucks at it.

There's no name for this character (or the show) yet.
I dunno if I want this to happen. Having this actually be possible would make Girly less fun. Of course, recent fan art of characters from "Kim Possible" and "My Hime" have kind of made it less fun already.
Let it be known that I did it before it became weird and insane.
