I'm actually moving forward a little on this non-web project.

Oh my =O

... little bit of a redo of something from a couple posts ago. It's like a Hocus Focus game.

You know... it's been a while since I used this journal as just a journal-type thing. You know, to talk about the goings-on in my life and such!
Soooo... here's a rundown.
Since my 3rd year in college, I've been living in the outskirts or Austin. Riverside for three years, then North Austin for six years. Wow, I didn't realize it's been almost a decade until I typed that just now. Anyway, I'm ready to move back toward the city and upgrade from apartment to house in one go, so I found a nice place on Red River and will be making my home there in about a week. I'll also be gaining a roommate for the first time since I moved up north, something I've been wanting to do for the past couple years or so.
I'll still be renting, but aside from that, this is just the kind of change I need in my somewhat stagnating life.
I think that about covers it! I suppose moving to Greenland or Australia or at least a different state would be more exciting, but I'm excited anyway.
I really want to move Girly to 5x a week sometime within the next couple months, and finish this current Doctor V story before the end of the year. Those are my comic-related goals for the near-future. As for Slipshine, I'm still hoping for 2000 mombers by 2009.
Of course, there'll be a bit of a lull as I move everything over, but I'm expecting some motivation to follow.

Here's a little crosspost from BSS, without further comment. At this point I'm not addressing Miss Tiedrich specifically (she already saw this).... just anyone who could use this kind of advice. Enjoy!

This also got posted in the thread, so I'll post it here too! From Preston Blair's animation guidebook. Some of you may have already seen this, but if you haven't here it is!

Oh, and here's a link to the (quite funny!) Awkward Zombie comic in question.

I haven't drawn something for fun in forever!
This is a video of me drawing the latest comic, sped up really fast, pretty much like the videos Meredith made for Octopus Pie! (most notably this one)
