Something a little more pleasant. The back cover design for book 2, finally. Once I add the copy text and barcode, the design is finished and ready for some editing and then printing.
While I like how it came out, finding a way to add the copy text on that background may prove difficult, but I'm sure I'll find a way.



I suppose it's all right to announce that Cutewendy Edition 2 and Girly Book 2 will be published by Studio Zoe... In other words, by myself. I loev Radio Comix, but you know, the industry doesn't have enough indie publishers, and doing the dance with Diamond sounds like so much fun that I must go it alone now. To make things clear, I am doing this mostly because I am crazy and not due to any problems with Radio Comix, whom I will continue to support with hugs and stuff.

I just spent a few hours redoing a hi-res version of Girly #86. Some of you may know that I could only include half the comic in the book due to losing the hi-res version of the bottom half. It still made sense as just the top half, which was both good and bad. Good 'cause it was still readable. Bad because it caused me to not notice this until right when the book needed to be printed or else. But I figured I could just include the complete comic in book 2 and future reprints of book 1, and everyone will be happy.

So anyway, not even a minute after I finished the redraw of the bottom half, I found a copy of the original file on my backup computer. =|

I could swear to god I checked there before. =|

On its way, it is.

Over the past week I've watched all three seasons of Arrested Development... nearly consecutively. I decided to take a little break when I found myself having dreams about the Bluth family, but it was still more or less a nice marathon of brilliance. And Season 3 was entirely new to me so that was pretty darn fun...
