I liked SPX. I should do more Northern or East Coast cons. Don't get me wrong, it's always a pleasure seeing the friends and readers who live in or regularly travel to Texas or San Diego, but it's pretty neat traqeling and visiting completely new crowds of people.
Around 9 out of 10 readers at the con mentioned to me that they've been reading my comics since Wendy, which leads me to believe the comic readers in New England are extremely patient. Imagine, still being here after the first Wendy hiatus, the third, the tenth... the two times I quit the comic, the time I actually quit the comic, the Girly hiatuses which thankfully aren't as numerous as the Wendy ones but there were nonetheless too many, particularly the ones before and after Chapter 12 which kind of permanently nerfed its readership, this week-long break I'm on now because, despite being a "professional cartoonist" for six years, I still can't seem to work ahead... and what must have been 20 to 25 rants which vary wildly in justifiability!
I realized the Wendy comic went up February 1999, so I'm approaching 10 years of running self-published webcomics. My hats off to everyone who's been there since the beginning! And I have a lot of hats.

My luggage came back this morning. It was nice of them to fix things this quickly. I'll think about maybe reconsidering swearing off US Airways forever!
Here are some sketchbook pics I did at the con. I made an effort to up the quality on my convention sketches a tad, and by Saturday, I was including duotones in all of them.
